Obituary

Miguel was born in San Antonio, Michoacán, Mexico to parents Guillermo Ochoa and Sara Ruiz. Miguel was a hardworking man who always made sure his family was taken care of. He worked tending the roses for Jackson & Perkins for more than 30 years before retiring. He was a great father, grandfather and friend. He was a social man who liked watching soccer and playing cards with his friends. Miguel often enjoyed going out for evening walks around Wasco. Miguel passed away suddenly on October 22, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
Miguel is survived by his beloved wife, Ofelia Ochoa; five children, Guillermo Ochoa, Claudia Ochoa and her husband Junior, Maria Lucano and her husband Pedro, Veronica Ochoa, Pedro Miguel Ochoa; grandchildren, Lizzette Madera, Tito Madera, J.R. Lucano, Michael Lucano, Valerie Lucano, Gabriela Lucano; great grandchildren, Anabelle, Abel, Kenzly, Louie, Anaya, Delilah; brothers, Guillermo Ochoa, Fernando Alaniz, Jose Alaniz; sisters, Maria Contreras, Maria Velez, Yolanda Diaz, Sara Vento, Maria De Jesus Ochoa, Ana Castillo. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Maribel Madera; mother, Sara Ruiz Ochoa; father, Guillermo Ochoa Sr.; brothers, Carlos Ochoa, Fernando Ochoa, Pedro Ochoa.
A Mass of a Christian Burial will be officiated on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 10am at St. Johns Catholic Church. A Viewing will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 2-8pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco.
Miguel nació en San Antonio, Michoacán, México, de padres Guillermo Ochoa y Sara Ruiz. Miguel era un hombre trabajador que siempre se aseguraba de que su familia fuera atendida. Trabajo en las rosas para Jackson & Perkins durante 30 años antes de retirarse. Era un gran padre, abuelo y amigo. Es precedido en la muerte por su nieta, Maribel Madera; madre, Sara Ruiz Ochoa; padre, Guillermo Ochoa Sr.; hermanos, Carlos Ochoa, Fernando Ochoa, Pedro Ochoa.
Una misa de un entierro cristiano será oficiada el miércoles 30 de octubre de 2019 a las 10 am en la Iglesia Católica de San Juan. Un Velorio será el martes 29 de octubre de 2019 de 2-8pm con un recitación del Santo Rosario a las 6pm en Peters Funeral Home en Wasco.
