Minerva Cortez de Ortiz, 88, of Wasco CA died June 18th 2017. Born in Los Herreras Nuevo Leon Mexico to Natividad and Lorenza Cortez, loving wife of Amado Ortiz Sr., passed away, peacefully surrounded by loving family. Minerva worked in the farm labor industry her whole life until her retirement in 1995. She dearly loved all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved gardening and playing with her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always made room at her… table to serve her substantially large family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Amado, three sons Pedro, Amado Jr. and Hector, and two daughters Lorenza and Rosa. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren, all living in the Wasco area.

Nacido en Los Herreras Nuevo Leon, Mexico a Natividad y Lorenza Cortez, amada esposa de Amado Ortiz Sr., fallecio en paz rodeada de queridos de la familia. Minerva trabajó en la industria de mano de obra agrícola toda su vida hasta su retiro en 1995. Amaba mucho a todos sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos. Ella amaba la jardinería y jugar con sus numerosos nietos y bisnietos. Siempre hizo sitio en su mesa para servir su familia substancialmente grande. Extrañaremos enormemente por su familia y amigos.
Ella es sobrevivida por su esposo Amado, tres hijos Pedro, Amado Jr. y Héctor y dos hijas Lorenza y Rosa. También ella es sobrevivida por dieciséis nietos y diez bisnietos, todos viven en la zona de Wasco.
