Adam Sanchez, age 18 was born on November 12, 2003 was called home on December 16, 2021. A beloved son, grandson, brother, cousin, uncle & friend. Adam was born in Delano, & raised in McFarland by his mother Monica Jimenez & grandfather Larry Gutierrez. If you asked anyone who knew of Adam, everyone would be sure to tell you Adam was truly one of a kind. He was such a young soul with a heart full of gold. One who would go above and beyond for anyone he loved & cared for without hesitation. He wouldn’t hesitate to offer a helping hand when needed, even if it was the last of what he had, he would always put others before himself. He was definitely one stubborn kid and he sure knew how to push everyone’s buttons just to get a kick out of it, but one thing about Adam was when he loved, he loved hard. A young soul with so much love, laughter, and compassion. Wherever he was, he was always sure to be the center of attention. His presence was able to light up a whole room with the character he had, never failing to make someone laugh, even on our bad days. He was such a determined young kid, anything he wanted to accomplish he definitely set his mind to it and wouldn’t stop until he got what he wanted. Although we’ve gotten to only spend 18 short years with him, maybe even a shorter amount of time to others. For the most part, we can all say every moment with Adam was certainly unforgettable & memorable. Lets all continue to remember the good times & remember that he is reunited and resting with his grandmother, Adelina, tia Stephanie & cousin Isaac.
We little knew that morning
That God would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly;
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For a part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
One day the chain will link again.
