Rafaela Tijerina, 80, passed way on Monday, August 8, 2022 at home surrounded by her husband and children.
Rafaela was a devoted mother and wife. She was married for 56 years. Her greatest joy were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always available for them and she loved to cook for them. She was so proud of them and loved watching them grow up to be amazing people. She was very active in her community and was a Lost Hills School District board member for over 20 years. She would always help anyone in need.
Rafaela is survived by her husband Blas. Her children, Dora and Jim Dunlavey, Jorge Tijerina and Veronica Tijerina.
Her beloved grandchildren, Aaron and Erin, JJ and Nikki, Allyson, Desiree, Genesis
Her great grand children, Ares, Apollo, Ireland, Maddie, Gabby and Zealand.
Rafaela is also survived by her siblings, Rebeca and Baldomero Lopez, Gregorio and Maria Rivera, Mario and Yolanda Rivera, Sanjuanita and Jose Luis Cantu, Valentin and Martha Rivera, Blanca and Rick Bennett and Elizabeth and Pioquinto Garza, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
