Jesus (Jesse) was born on October 9, 1962 in McFarland, Ca. He went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2023 in Wasco, Ca.
On February 14, 1997, he married Lorraine Tovar. Jesse had one daughter, Crystal Gutierrez and 5 stepsons, Art Arellano, Danny González, Jacob Tuck, Gary Tuck and Vidal González. He has 7 grandchildren, Kylee González, Leyla Caracas, Audrina Tuck, Azteca Galarza, Noah Tuck, Aaliyah Tuck and Gionni Benítez.
Jesse was predeceased by his father, Jesus Sotelo Gutierrez, mother, Maria Evelia García Gutierrez and brother, Dolores (Lolo) Mendoza Mendez. He is survived by his siblings Américo (Med) García, Valeriano (Larry) García, Ramiro García, Mary Ronquillo, Stella Kidd and Maria Linda Sanchez.
He worked in the oil fields for 40 years. Christmas was his favorite time of the year, he would dress up in his Santa suit and cruise around town spreading cheer on his Harley. In his leisure time, he enjoyed camping, playing darts, baking with his grandchildren, riding his Harley and spending time with his family. He was proud of his children and grandchildren which were his pride and joy.
Viewing will be held at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco on March 23, 2023 from 4-8, Rosary will begin at 6pm. Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church in Wasco, on March 24th at 10 am. Graveside service immediately following at Wasco Cemetery.
