Obituary for Sean Thomas Parten
Sean was born on July 1, 1987 in Delano, CA to Rhonda and Charlie Parten. Sean was a happy child growing up with his big brother Matt playing football and baseball. Sean attended Wasco elementary schools and Shafter High. During his young years, Sean met Whitney Heriford, his best friend, future wife and the love of his life. Together, Sean and Whitney had three beautiful children, Blake Thomas, Ashton Jeffrey, and Brook Nicole. Sean loved being a father to his children. Sean was employed at… Robert Heeley, Inc. In his spare time, Sean liked to play football, and he loved to take Whitney fishing. Sean could be considered the world’s biggest Dallas Cowboys fan, he never missed a game. Sean went home to be with the Lord on September 2, 2008. He will be greatly missed and always loved. Sean is preceded in death by grandmother Willie Parten and sister-in-law Ashley Heriford. Sean leaves behind his fiancée Whitney Heriford, son Blake, son Ashton, and daughter Brooke; parents Rhonda Turriff and Charles Parten; brother Matthew Parten and his girlfriend Amanda Hale; future mother-in-law Cheryl Taylor-Mason and husband David; Uncles Brian Mello and wife Megan, Tom Gresham and wife Crystal, Edward Parten and wife Debbie; Aunts Michelle McLain and husband Clint, Virginia Horton and husband Mike, Diane Jeffords and husband Mike, Louise Libby, Leela Pentecost; Grandparents Patricia Moore, Bill Gresham, Joe Parten, Jerry and Linda Taylor. Sean also leaves behind many cousins and friends. Sean loved all those mentioned and many, many more. Please keep Sean’s memory alive each day for his remaining loved ones.
A funeral service will be held Friday, September 5, 2008 at 1pm Westside Family Fellowship, Wasco for Sean Thomas Parten, age 21, who passed away September 2, 2008. Pastor John Ross will officiate the service and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Joe Parten, Adam Parten, Gene Parten, Clint McLain, Jimmy Lynch, A.J. Ayon, Matt Parten, Brian Mello, Joshua Songer, and Matt Fuller. Visitations will be held Thursday, September 4 from 5pm to 8pm and Friday from 10am to noon at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco
