Mary Lavonne Smith Ince was born December 9, 1953, in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Tom Smith and Velma Ruess. She passed away on October 9, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was raised in Pond, California and attended Pond School and Delano High School. Mary married Eugene Ince of Pond, California and they raised two children, Shawn and Shana and were blessed with 5 grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband, Gene, and her son and daughter-in-law, Shana and Jose Cervantes, grandchildren Madison, Silas, Joe , Noah and Alex. She was also survived by her brother, Charlie and wife Jaclyn and family, and her sister, Leslie Smith and family. Mary was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, Clarence and step-father, Don Roberts.
Visitation will be Monday, October 19, 2015, 4-8 pm, with services on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 10 am at Delano Mortuary, 707 Browning Road, Delano, California. Burial will be immediately following at Wasco Cemetery.
