Obituary for Marion Louise Marlow

Marion was born to Alva (Buster) and Mary Clark on July 22, 1931 in Wheeler, Texas. She entered her eternal life on January 11, 2016. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our “Bongie”. Marion married Tony Visser in 1950 and had two girls and two boys (Karen, Becky, Ted and Tony). For 11 years she dedicated herself to this chapter of her life in Wasco, CA. She later moved to Tehachapi, where she met the love of her life, Harold Marlow. They spent over 50 years enjoying life together.… Fishing, snowy days, sewing, playing slots, afternoons spent with her dear friends and countless family gatherings were her favorite pastimes. There’s nothing she loved more than a full house of loved ones. She also had a sweet tooth that wouldn't quit! Marion especially enjoyed her nickname "Bongie" that was given to her by her grandchildren. Her spirit is carried on by her husband, Harold Marlow; her four children and their spouses, Karen (Richard) Gonzales, Becky Visser, Ted (Patty) Visser and Tony (Libby) Visser along with six grandchildren Russell, Harold, Kristin, Misty, Amanda and Cameron; nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and her precious dog George. Predeceased by her siblings, Bob Clark, Floy McGinley and Nell McGinnis. A celebration of Marion’s life will be held at Peters Funeral Home, 1401 7th St in Wasco on January 15, 2016 at 10:00am.
