Obituary for Kimberly Denice Hughes

Kimberly was born in Delano, California on May 9, 1962 to Jack Hughes and Shirley (McCoy) Hughes. Kimmie, as she was known by many, grew up and attended local schools in Mcfarland, Caifornia. She had many memories of friends and high school. She treasured everything about life, particularly spending time with family and friends. Every holiday was special with Kimmie, especially Christmas and each year she would purchase a different ornament for her tree. Kimmie spent every 4th of July with the… Jue family, where they spent hours listening to music and watching the firework show. She frequently traveled to Disneyland, the beach, Avila fruit farm, and many campgrounds. Along with traveling, Kimmie loved cooking out of different recipe books and creating dishes for the family. She loved all her nieces and nephews, but her heart melted for Madison.
Kimmie is survived by her parents, Jack and Shirley Hughes; brothers, Jeffery (Polly) Hughes, Keith Jue, Curtis Jue, Chris Jue; sister, Sandra Jue; nieces and nephews, Madison Hughes, Logan Hughes, McKenna Kelley, Connor Kelley, Ashlyn Kelley.
A graveside service was officiated by Pastor Norma A. Ross at Wasco Memorial Park on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 10am. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Westside Family Fellowship Children ministry building fund at 2150 Palm Ave. Wasco, Ca 93280. (661) 758-9013.
