Linda Ann Dieter  

Linda Ann Dieter was born to John & Lenora Porter on January 15, 1941 and passed away in Bakersfield, California on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the age of 79. Funeral graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11:00am at the Wasco Memorial Cemetery. In her youth, Linda was involved in Jobs Daughters, graduated Wasco High School in 1959, and attended beauty school. She was a hairdresser for 46 years. Linda married Larry Dieter in 1960 and had been married 60 years at her passing. Linda was very involved in her children’s lives. She volunteered at St. John’s School in Wasco and helped with carnivals, bingo, dances, and always made Rice Krispy treats for the classroom parties. She attended all their sports and band competitions. She was also so involved in the Waco High Band Boosters and worked many football concessions. Linda loved the beach, mountains, gardening, reading, shopping and doing puzzles. She also loved crafting of all kinds and watching crime shows. Linda’s most favorite time of the year was Christmas and always had the most beautiful Christmas trees and packages. Linda was also an active member of the Wasco Woman’s Club for several years. Linda is survived by her husband, Larry Dieter of Wasco, children Mark Dieter (Jacqueline), Jennifer Dieter Ogborn, Stephanie Parker (Steve), grandchildren Madison, Brooklyn, and Christopher Dieter, Jacob Ecret, Andrew, Cambria, and Brody Parker, and Jaylund DeLeon and great-grandchild Anthony Ecret. Linda is also survived by her brother Gary Porter (Becky). She is preceded in death by her parents John & Lenora Porter and sister Diane Johnson. This World is blessed to have had Linda a part of it, and she will be deeply missed.
