OBITUARY

Benito Castillo

April 3, 1926 – March 2, 2018

Benito Castillo was born on April 3, 1926 in Karnes City, Texas to Rafael Castillo and Julia Rocha. He married the love of his life Maria Trevino on April 1, 1945. They were married for 70 years. Benito was a very hard working man, he worked as a truck driver for many years to support his family. Benito and his wife and family would travel from city to city to find work, often taking his children with him when school was out for summer. Benito and his wife loved taking evening walks and going to bingo, he loved being outside watering his grass often waving to everyone that passed by. Benito loved his Chevy trucks often buying and upgrading every year until he bought his first and last Ford pickup (Yes we said FORD)… Benito was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather and will be missed by his large and loving family and friends. Benito was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather and will be missed by his large and loving family and friends Benito is survived by his sons, Benito Castillo Jr and wife Mary Richard Castillo, Robert Castillo and wife Emma, Jose Castillo and wife Patsy, David Castillo and wife Bernice, Rafael Castillo and wife Armida, Johnny Castillo and wife Lori. Daughters, Carmen Martin and husband Roy, Gloria Castillo, Nelda Gonzalez and husband Angel Nancy Marie Castillo. Sisters Paula C. Guzman, Tomasa C. Garcia and Vivian C. Miramontes, 54 Grand Children, 134 Great Grand Children 52 Great Great Grand Children.

Benito was proceeded in death by his loving wife Maria Castillo his parents, Rafael and Julia Castillo, Son, Ysabel and daughter, baby Nancy, brother Antonio Castillo, sisters Juanita C. Vasquez, Evangelina C. Torrez, Josefina C. Puentes, 3 Grandchildren, Richard Castillo Jr. (Sporty), Laurie Castillo and Daniel Castillo. The Holy Rosary will be recited Monday, March 12, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church for Benito Castillo Age 91 of Wasco who passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, March 2, 2018. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St John’s Catholic Church, Father Raul Sanchez will officiate and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park.
